Recently, the world went crazy about ecology, healthy nutrition, and avoidance of harmful chemicals. However, what we might consider as being good for skin care, is not always good for us. On the Internet, we can find many pages extolling the virtues of natural substances used as substitutes for daily care creams. Unfortunately, what we can read there is not always true, and the information provided there is not always confirmed by official tests.
It happens very often that switching to natural skin care causes an allergic reaction. This happens because natural substances, used in the role of cosmetics, usually occur at very strong concentrations, which we are normally not used to. As a result, they act as allergens, and we become allergic to them, which later excludes any possibility of using conventional creams containing those ingredients. Manufacturers of natural cosmetics also like to emphasize that the composition of their products avoids any chemicals, including petroleum products, but they do not mention the fact that natural cosmetics, in the same way as conventional ones, need preservatives to stay fresh – otherwise their contact with skin (even one-time) would make them useless, and even harmful. During application, fungi, mold, and bacteria get into a natural cosmetic, and if preservatives are not present, those microorganisms rapidly reproduce and destroy the product.
But are natural cosmetics overrated? Not all of them. We just need to remember that if we buy such a product, we must find for it an appropriate storage place – cool, protected from daylight. We should also remember about its short shelf life (up to several weeks), and the need for a specific application procedure – we cannot apply a natural cream the same way as a conventional cosmetic. One should also check the certification and composition – the designation of a natural cosmetic allows for 5% of its chemical composition.
Conventional cosmetics, such as anti-aging creams, have an advantage in the form of added preservatives, and, therefore, of their long shelf life. Their composition, that is, the choice of ingredients and of their specific quantities in relation to each other, allows for targeting specific needs, so that the skin will not be overburdened by an excessive amount of one ingredient, dominating the absorption of other active substances. However, in the case of conventional cosmetics, one should carefully check their composition. It is important that the list of ingredients does not start with heavy substances, which clog pores, and, as a result, make permeation difficult for other components. The long shelf life, and their mass production, make traditional creams cheaper. Also, their application does not require taking any special measures, or any extra attention.
What distinguishes our EXCLUSIVE COSMETICS skin care creams is their targeting of specific biological needs. Each of the creams is aimed at one particular 5-year-long age interval, and is able to provide the skin belonging to that interval the ingredients it needs for the deficiencies to be filled in. An additional advantage of each of the creams is their moisturizing function, which forms the basis of their ability to transfer to the skin other substances. Regardless of the skin type, the skin is always intensively hydrated, but without becoming overburdened.
